Enhancement Detail

The Enhancement Detail is our most thorough exterior service, designed for vehicles where the condition of the paintwork matters as much as protecting it. Unlike the Protection Detail, where machine polishing prepares the surface before a coating is applied, the Enhancement is built around the polishing process itself.

The work is carried out over two days. We begin with a full decontamination of the paintwork, then move into extended machine polishing to remove swirl marks, light scratches, holograms and paint haze. Polishing takes as long as the paint demands and often carries through to the second day, with the aim of removing 60 to 70% of surface defects. Only once we're happy with the finish do we move on to a final panel wipe and apply a ceramic coating to the paintwork, a dedicated wheel coating to the wheel faces, and a glass coating for long lasting water repellency.

The result is significantly refined paintwork sealed under a ceramic coating, a finish that looks genuinely transformed.

Please note: this is a structured two day service to allow for proper preparation, polishing, and ceramic coating application. This package focuses on exterior paint correction and coating only. Interior cleaning is available separately.

Wash & Decontamination:

• Wheels, tyres and arches deep cleaned
• Pre-wash snow foam applied and rinsed to safely remove loose dirt
• Two-bucket safe wash using pH neutral shampoo
• Intricate areas detailed with soft brushes
• Full liquid decontamination (tar and iron removal)
• Paintwork and glass clayed to remove bonded contaminants
• Engine bay cleaned and finished with protectant on plastics and rubbers

Preparation & Protection:

• In depth machine polish carried out removing roughly 60-70% of surface swirling, holograms and defects to greatly improve overall gloss and appearance of the paintwork
• IPA panel wipe to remove polish oils and residue before coating
• 3 year durability ceramic coating applied to paintwork
• Exterior glass sealant applied for improved wet weather visibility 
• Exhaust tips polished and ceramic coated
• Wheel faces coated with dedicated alloy coating

Ceramic Coating - What You Get:

The 3 year ceramic coating included as standard creates a chemically bonded hydrophobic layer over the paintwork. Water beads and sheets off the surface, contamination does not bond the way it does to bare paint, and the gloss is maintained over time in a way that a wax or sealant simply cannot match. Once cured, the car is noticeably easier to maintain, washes are quicker, the paint stays cleaner for longer and the finish holds up through years of daily driving.

Coating Upgrade Options:

The upgrade adds a professional hydrophobic top coat layer applied over the base ceramic in the same session. The top coat works as a sacrificial layer over the coating underneath, taking the environmental wear first and protecting the base ceramic for longer. Water behaviour is significantly enhanced from the moment the coating cures, making the car noticeably easier to maintain and the finish noticeably more impressive. Recommended for customers planning to keep their vehicle for several years or wanting the best possible result.
